Initially I thought it was due to me painting by hand (instead of by airbrush), but then I stumbled across that apothecary where the purple was applied by brush as well - and turned out way nicer than what I was able to achieve.Īt this point, I'm completely and utterly stumped.Warhammer 40k is a franchise created by Games Workshop, detailing the far future and the grim darkness it holds. When I used that colour however, it turned out extremely dark, almost black (like here on WarhammerTV) and nothing like the purple pictured. I've been trying out what feels like all the purples, without success in replicating a bright, blue-ish purple - including Phoenician Purple by Citadel, which was used on the minis linked.
